The CBI are whinging again...

... about the new minimum wage increase.
If the minimum wage and working time directive are so bad, then why in report after report, European workers are shown to be more productive and happier in their jobs then us, their British counterparts?

I'm no Euro-phile - quite the opposite, quite the sceptic - but I'd love to work less hours, since what the bosses don't realise is this: just because you may spend ten, twelve hours in work, doesn't mean to say that you do more work than if you were stuck at your post for eight.

Of course, they won't be happy unless we were chained and whipped senseless, driven to that impossible to reach target whilst they swan about in their two hour "power" lunches.
