First off, the proof copy of Rhys Hughes forthcoming At the Mountains of Molehills has arrived, and it has a much weightier feel compared to the other Pendragon books - hardly surprising really, since I've upped the paper weight.
Anyway, the first print run should be with me in a few weeks and you do remember the launch date? 15th August at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea at 7pm - free wine, so I'm expecting loads of people to buy the books to pay for this wine! :)
As for the cheese well I've discovered the lounge genius that is Richard Cheese. He basically takes great rock tracks and gives them a lounge/easy-listening make-over:
Enter Sandman, Creep, Smack my Bitch up, Stairway to Heaven are just a sheer delight to hear - well recommended. The man's a musical gem!
Last Sunday - yes, I know, should really update this blog more regular, I saw Superman Returns and to be honest with you, I found it over-blown, with a heavy-handed director. Very disappointed - much prefer the original Richard Donner version, and Batman Returns too was a far superior "franchise reboot" (or so the term is called...)
Got a long weekend off - well, not in work until next Wednesday - but should really knuckle down and do the work that I wanted to do and not faff about on the net, i.e. Pendragon accounts for the tax-man.
I know, I'd prefer to be in work...
