The lad reckons he's David Lichfield...

Well, not quite, but I have been known to take my trusty digi-cam with me whilst going for a walk - and going through my various backup CD's, I found a couple of photographs which I'm quite proud of.

In 2002, I visited the USA for the first time - and Chicago in particular - for the annual World Horror Convention. On the only day we ventured into the City, which was the only daythat rained, I took this snap of the John Hancock Centre - and it's big.

Closer to home, and I'm glad I actually live so close to nature - the follow shots were taken mere minutes from my house:

A babbling brook on the cycle path to Glyncorrwg.

In the forest, just ten minutes away... taken a couple of winters ago, has you may have guessed.

This is the jetty on Aberavon beach, again taken during the winter - it was blowing quite a gale, I can tell you. Why I decided to walk along the beach is anyone's guess, even the dog looked at me stupidly...

And this is Tintern Abbey, or rather the main arches - it took me a little time to get the shot just right, and this probably my favourite: it's currently my desktop wallpaper.

I haven't taken my camera out on a walk for sometime now - don't know why, just hadn't bothered or either forgotten. Mind you, it is getting a little old now (only 2MP) with no optical zoom, so I suppose I'll pick up the photography bug again once I get myself a decent digi-cam.... :)

Don't you just hate those babbling brooks? Can't get a word in edgeways with them, they're all... me, me, me...

Still, give it time and it will all end up water under the bridge...

Hey Chris, I envy you. Want to swap your place for mine?
