Samuel L Jackson has never looked so cool since Pulp Fiction - "Nelville Flynn" is a new action-hero, and Snakes on a Plane is a damn fine, if idiotic beyond idiocy, start to what I believe will be series of Flynn adventures.
Grossly over-hyped, but for once it was almost worth it; an incredibly entertaining film with some decent enough scares and laugh-out-loud moments, and the CG spiders looked pretty realistic insofar has the film is "realistic".
In other news, Rhys Hughes's At the Molehills of Madness arrived back from the printers last week - orders being despatched... and the launch on the 15th September in Swansea, at the Dylan Thomas Centre. Free wine and musical entertainment. :)
Anything else? Nowt at the mo...
