Just ordered CAD $ 430 for my trip to Toronto but, I'm wondering how, how much shall I take in total? Should $100 a day be sufficient, which in that case will mean an extra $200 to buy...
Or, is $430 more than enough for six days (Wednesday I arrive at 4pm, and the following Monday I leave at 6pm).
Decisions, decisions...

Just be glad you're going ya bastard!
Maybe I can provide perspective? A Big Mac meal in Toronto costs about $8. An average hardback book is about $40. Bus-fare is $2.75 each way. Chocolate bars are about $1. Petrol is currently $1/litre. Comic books (new) are $2.95
Does this give you enough to go on?
How much are the hookers, is draught Guiness expensive, do you have enough to pay for my present?
All important questions...
Gary, you could always sell a kidney... I'll have plenty of piccies when I return. ;-)
Simon, cheers for the info - I'm working on a budget of around $50/day (though I'm not expecting to be buying any hardback books). I'll look to get another $100 just in case.
Bob, funnily enough the hotel apparently looks out over a car park where ladies of the night ply their trade... at least I won't need to spend any money on "movies" for the room. ;-)
Pressie? I'm buying your book at the launch, isn't that enough? Whatdya what, blood? Damned authors!
Chris, if you want to loan me the $300 to buy a plane ticket, I'll split the cost of a hotel room with you. I'll even let you use a pillow when you're sleeping in the bathtub :-)
I know, howabout you have the bath Elizabeth and I'll have the bed. Sounds fair to me. :-)
Lol, if I could actually afford to get there and pay for the con tickets, I'd probably be willing to sleep in the hallway.
