Just to let you folks know, I've uploaded a report to the Pendragon site here - if you fancy a read.
On the Monday, I purchased a CD from a band I hadn't heard before: Neon Bible by Arcade Fire. Absolutely fantastic; a stunning album. If you like a bit of arty-soft rock (not akin to Roxy Music) then it's well worth a listen.

Great report, Chris. Hope you folks didn't get all the way to that other Marriot (which is uptown) before realising the mistake.
At any rate, Calgary does sound like a good time. Perhaps see you there.
You should get the first album too. Certainly much better than the over-hyped The Fray - one decent song on the entire album. Guess which one was released?
