Deployment Strategy

It's not often you find low-budget short films with visual effects that wouldn't look out of place on a big-budget feature, but I've found one: an unashamed sf action-fest which just looks stunning.

Watch the trailer - it's fantastic.

Blimey!

I realise that you can't always trust trailers, but that looked better than some so-called professional films I've endured.

On the one hand that looked really impressive. On the other hand I'm always a bit suspicious of trailers where they play highly dramatic music instead of any of the film's dialogue -- it's usually an excuse to disguise crap acting and a poor script.

I don't think I'll ever be able to watch some of those effects and not think, "This is ripping off STRANGER THAN FICTION".

Guessing its not in English .. but looks impressive enough!

Insofar has I am aware, it is an English language film - and I can probably excuse the dialogue due to the fact it's a short film as opposed to a feature.

And from what I hear, Transformers has some truly awful dialogue.

Transformers does have some bad dialogue .. but to be fair, its a cheese fest so you cant expect keats. Although i was caught punching the air when Prime and Megs had some lines from the original Trans movie in their face off. Yes .. sad fan boy .. I know I know!
