I'd like to thank god, may agent, my hairstylist...

Just found out that I'm shortlisted for this year's British Fantasy Award in the "Best Small Press" category, and that Stuart Young's The Mask Behind the Face is nominated in "Best Novella" category and the whole book is nominated for "Best Collection". Naturally, I'm chuffed and extremely grateful for all the lovely people who voted, but no nomination for Ben Baldwin who provided the stunning artwork?

I'm not going to win, but I hope Stu does, though nevertheless it is still incredibly nice to be noted by your peers.

And FantasyCon is a great convention anyway and basically an excuse to get pissed and talk bollocks, plus occasionally selling a book or two (though I've been extremely lucky these last couple of years and actually sold enough to cover my costs... thank you one and all, and I hope you will continue to do so).

Hopefully I may see one or two of you there. :)

Nice one Chris :)

Great to be nominated, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Good luck to Stu, too.

Hope you liked the Robbi & Abigail vid, and yes, I'll hopefully turn up at Rhys's bash.

Cheers,
Bob

I would probably have come to the launch but I've just heard that I've been accepted on the TAPS course in Cardiff starting that evening

Stupidly I'm quite excited about it . . .

That's so awesome! If both of you win I can brag about knowing famous writers ;-)
