I blame the monks...

... it's not my fault I'm suffering this morning from alcohol consumption (specifically a few bottles of Magners).

I mean, if it wasn't for those monks a few centuries ago, so bored with their hum-drum life that they decided to try fermenting vegetables, then I wouldn't have ended up drinking the evil alcoholic apple juice and puking my guts this morning... evil monks.

Still, it was a good excuse for the family to get-together: Christening for my cousin's new baby. In fact, despite the entire family living only a couple of miles apart, it does take special occasions to get them altogether, and then I only ever see aunts and uncles once or twice a year... and then regret it the following morning, after imbibbing far too much of the evil apple juice.

Anyway, no work done yesterday... and off to get a greasy sausage/bacon roll in a minute.

Hmmm..... :)

So that's why there were no bottles of Magners left for me in
Tesco's this morning...
